Connecting with Fellow Collectors

Are you a beginner wanting to learn from experienced collectors?  Are you an expert in one of the German colonies and want to share you knowledge?  The GCCG provides ample opportunities to connect with fellow collectors through in-person meet-ups, video-teleconferencing, and online forums accessible only to members.

Annual Meeting at the Great American Stamp Show

The GCCG meets in-person at least once a year at the largest stamp show in the U.S., the Great American Stamp Show, which is co-sponsored by the American Philatelic Society, the American Topical Association and the American First Day Cover Society.  The show, which welcomes collectors of all skill levels and interests, is hosted at a different city in the U.S. every year.

Updates on Auctions/Sales of German Colonial Material

Several times a year, we announce news of auctions and special sales featuring philatelic material related to the German colonies.  Members also receive notice of special, liimited run publications on German colonial philately as they are announced.

Membership is on an annual basis.  New membership applications are accepted year-round.  Applicants should complete the PDF linked at right and submit it to the address on the application via either e-mail or mail.

Dues amounts are dependent upon whether you want to receive Vorläufer as a hard-copy or PDF.

• US$20 – Hard-copy Vorläufer to addresses in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico
• US$33 or €30 – Hard-copy Vorläufer to the rest of the world
• US$10 or €10 – PDF copy of Vorläufer via e-mail
